I don't rec fics all that often, but this one's different.
This story will leave you begging for brain bleach and reaching for something to poke out your eyes. After all, misery loves company.

My very favorite episode of West Wing is on Monday morning. The Midterms. With one of the best rants of all time.
Of course I have a standing appointment to go grocery shopping that day. And it's not like I can call and cancel just to watch five minutes of TV. ~headdesk~ So I'm gonna miss it. ~pouts~ So, here's a crab puff recipe. Because Sam stealing that bitch's crap puff off her plate is just such a nice finish to the rant.

Anyone on my list ever wear a motorcycle helmet? What does it sound like? I mean, I imagine that it would sound kinda funny if it's an old one that has a visor covering the face but no communications equipment. Is there an echo?

Okay, I can give you that in Harry Potter fandom, there just MIGHT be a special spell or potion that would restore virginity. Hell, plastic surgeons supposedly can do it, so why not with magic?
BUT ...
It's been a while, but I really doubt that anyone can 'sense how much better' their repaired hymen feels. Well, maybe if they were in stirrups, or during some weird wizarding version of an OBGYN visit, but not just standing there with clothes on. So yeah, that whole "OOH! I can feel my Maidenhead!" crap? Is just that.

I HAZ A MONITOR!
And I managed to hook it up without killing myself! LOL
The colors are different, more subdued. I guess I'll figure that out and it doesn't really bother me because that bright blue on my tool bar was annoying as fuck. And it's WIDE! I actually got a NEW new monitor, rather than a new used one and it's one of those flat screen ones. I got the smallest one but still ... HUGE! Which is neat!
Pardon me while I go play Ranch Rush for a couple of hours, or maybe Burger Shop. Because it was the graphics making me blip, I just now it.
And yay for not dropping it! I'm so glad I didn't break anything before I got it hooked up! |

My first Daily Deviant fic is up! I'm hoping to use the DD challenges to write short fics (which for me at present means under5K). So I topped it off a little at 5,175 words -- I'm still calling it a win!
For now I'll link to the DD post to keep comments in one place. At some point I'll archive the fic in this entry as a back up copy for just-in-cases.
